This project meets diverse learning needs and styles since they are singing, dancing, painting, or writing. There is a historical connection that reaches out of NC since we are researching famous African Americans. We are sharing our findings with the school in a celebration, making decisions on how to present as a group. We are also collecting and analyzing data in order to make changes to our presentation. Reflection
The students had a great time coming up with questions and enjoyed seeing the results of the survey. The lesson on thin and thick questions that came from EXCEL lesson plans really seemed to make the difference in the students’ abilities to create appropriate questions.
